Puppy Fix Friday!

This is Klaus, my mommy's friends puppy. He is a Bernese Mountain Dog.




Mommy's friend is thinking about getting this little puppy. She's so cute!

My First Swimming Lesson

Mommy wanted to teach me to swim. It wasn't so easy because the shoreline has rocks until about thigh deep and they are slippery. So mommy lifted me off the dock and held me close.



Then she took loosened her grip and let me splash around.





They I really splashed and tried to get on top of the water. We didn't do this very long because mommy didn't want me stressed. I was a little nervous. But I sure wanted to do zoomies afterward!



After boating and swimming we had dessert! Blueberry pie!!



Then it was time for bed.

My First Pontoon Ride

Hey guys! I went up to Northern Minnesota this weekend and went for my first boat/pontoon ride. Come along!!



This is me with my mommy. I stuck to her like glue -- except to explore the pontoon just a little. I couldn't help myself!



We saw some really big homes.



And some really cute little cabins.



Also beautiful, wild shoreline.



We also saw a bald eagle. Can you see it high in the single tree on the left? Not a great shot, but was so cool to glide right below him.



Thanks for coming along on the ride. It was lots of fun!



We ended the day with a gorgeous sunset. (Stay tuned for my swimming lesson!)

Kodak v. The Plant

Now what's wrong with me just sitting here? Maybe I'm protecting the plant from whoever has been digging in it!



Mommy tells me she doesn't trust me sitting here. What am I doing wrong?

Puppy Fix Friday!!

Bities and Innocence

My last blog my mommy said I was in her plant and made a big mess. She thought she had a picture of me with dirt around my mouth and was going to post it tonight. BUT, she downloaded and NO SUCH PICTURE EXISTS!!! Innocent!! Thanks for all of you standing by me!



I finally got around to playing with and gutting my present that I picked out for my birthday way back on June 16.



I then got friskey and decided to play bitey hand with mommy. She doesn't like it but I would rather play with her hands than a toy.



She took her hands away and I tried to play bitey feet!!



So then I tried to play bitey knee!!



Then there was nothing more to bite so I was in a little frenzy.



So I did zoomies! I was so fast, bet you can't even find me in this picture.

Guilty!

Hey, take a look at me. Really, really close. Do you see anything wrong with this picture? Do you see any.... well, dirt? I am so white, how can you see any dirt on me? Why does my mom think I was in the plant?



I just don't know what the give away was. Do you know? How could she blame me for this big mess? Hey, how did my chewie get in there?



Right after the mess my neighbor friend, Lori, stopped by.



I love to play with her. She crouches down by me and I do zoomies and then run back to her.





After our play, we do some loves.

Froggie

My mommy says that I look like a froggie when I lay like this.



But it feels so nice and cool on my tummy and all my bits and peices!! (Well I technically don't have the bits anymore.)



My cousin tries to lay like that too, but she just doesn't do it quite right. Good try, Alyx!

I would like to pass it along to Thor and Marco Polo. I think they will wear it proudly (although Thor and Marco may fight over it).
