Eskie Fest 2009

Photobucket

I went to a really fun picnic in Minnesota yesterday! This is my second year and my mom's third year going.

Hungry pups

This year there were over 50 eskies!! My mommy couldn't always find me because we all look so much alike!

This is me and my Mom. She's a little excited by all these eskies.

The Couches hosted the event and they have a great back yard. Huge and also have a pond!

They also have a fence with "port holes" that we eskies can look through. Cool, huh?

Tired Eskie 2009 picnic

This little guy was just dog gone tired. I so understand that saying now! I slept like a rock!

I've always wondered that about Eskies (and samoyeds, black labs etc.) Can you always tell them apart when you don't have color/marking variations?

p.s. some people think we look alike and Momma says that it's easy. She can always tell up apart - even i the dark. She says that a mom knows her kids.

One of the good parts of Sibes is all of the variations in colors and markings. I would have a hard time telling Eskies apart.

Oh my Sibe friends, there was a mixed sibe/eskie and he was beautiful!!! I lost most the pictures I tried to take, but really hope I can find someone who has a picture of that baby. Beautiful! All white with blue eyes and the rest mixed.

Wow, we can see how hard it would be to find you. If we had a fence like that, we would surely paw our humans to make us some portholes too - what a clever idea!
