Puppy Fix Friday!

Here are some really cute airedale pups for all our airedale friends!



They are so adorable!



Corgies are one of my favorite breeds! I bet these little guys would play with me!!



Doesn't this just scream "pet me!!"

Lost Doggie

My mommy was driving home from work yesterday and saw a white doggie running free. At first she thought it was me. She stopped and called to the doggie and he hopped in her car. She took him home (only a block away) and gave him some water and then walked around with him to see if his owners where out looking for him. No one was. So she brought him home and I didn't like that at all. Mommy made me stay gated in the kitchen and I barked and barked at that big white Samoyed. Mommy called the police but they didn't know when they would get to our house. So, then mommy went and sat on the corner of our cul de sac with the doggie to see if someone was out looking for him yet. Then BINGO! The owner drove by and picked him up. He said that the doggie knows how to open the door by himself. I think they better start locking the door or something to keep him safe!! It was all good in the end and the Sammy was rescued!

Music in the Park

Today the weather was gorgeous. It was 87 degrees out so we went down to Parkers Lake again.



This is the farthest I went into the water. It sort of scares me. I watched a black lab chase a ball into the water and I was just mesmerized!!



We saw a lot of people sitting around on chairs.



There was a band playing music!!



I made friends with this little girl. She really liked me. She is allergic to dogs so she couldn't pet me. But she came up so close that the bottom of her little dress touched my nose. She could barely resist me!!



She and her sister made meow sounds at me and I did zoomies around them.





I had a great evening!

Parker's Lake

Mommy and I went for a run around Parker's Lake this morning. We came back later so I could sniff around and explore more than I get to when we run.



There is the pavilion behind me.



Here is a beautiful fountain that is surrounded by all sorts of flowers.



There are lots of roses.



Poppies.



Wild rose bushes.



Here I am taking a breather to watch the fountain.



I love all the fresh summer air!!



We saw some treasure hunters. They had a metal detector and had just found something on the beach!!



We also saw some a mommy duck and her ducklings. They were afraid of us.



I got lots of sniffs in everywhere.

Puppy Fix Friday!

My Birthday Party

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Mommy and I went to Lulu and Luigi's to pick up my birthday presents. I couldn't even wait to get out of the store before sneaking a peek.



I picked this Loopie thingee out myself!



I played with it on the steps.



Mommy picked this out for me. It's a cupcake with one candle!



I like to squeak it!



Then mommy saved the best for last! A trip to the Dairy Queen!!!!



Mommy ate most of it but I did get some good licks in. I don't think that's fair that she gets most of my birthday treat!! Oh well, I got lots of doggie snacks and lots of hugs.



When all was said and done, I just wanted to head upstairs and snuggle.

Today is my birthday.....

Happy Birthday to me! I am one year old today. Mommy said she would bring me to Lulu and Luigi's and also the Diary Queen tonight! I can't wait!



We had a very nice walk this morning. I got to run in the baseball field for a bit too.

Hackensack, MN

I was stuck at Camp Bow Wow while my mommy went up north to Hackensack, Minnesota. It's the home of Lucette! She is Paul Bunyan's girlfriend!. It looks like she has something in her skirt!!





Here is a miniature version of Paul Bunyan. The real big Paul Bunyan is in Brainerd (and also Bemidji) Minnesota.
