What is all of this stuff? Maybe I should follow the trail and see what it leads to!




Ah yes, my dead bear!!



Just wanted to let you know I will be going to camp for the weekend while my mommy goes up north to help her parents celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. I will be going to Camp Bow Wow instead. I'm usually with the smaller doggies.



So I guess I'll just sulk. I think they should send those kids to camp instead!!

Kodak's Noon Walk

I go for walkies every afternoon with Sue, the neighbor. She takes me and her poodle, Chloe and another neighbor puppy, Olive. We walk and then go play in a small tennis court area where we can play and chase. Here we are hanging out taking a water break.



Chloe is older and doesn't like to play as much as Olive and I do. Sue sure has her hands full!!!

Puppy Fix Friday!

Tables and Training

Mommy hasn't cured me from jumping up on the table. As you can see, I'm quite comfortable here. I may just win this battle.



I've taken it a step further and am enjoying Mommy's computer desk upstairs.



I like to look out those windows and hang but I still like my lambie. I went to obedience training tonight (ironic?) and really showed off all the training that I've been through with my first mommy. However, this did not include the table jumping! LOL ;)

Nicknames - Do you have any?

My mommy calls this my crazy look. I get all excited and do zoomies all over. I've been at my new mommy's house now about 6 weeks and she is has start to give me nicknames. She calls me Kodak Podak. She has always used "pumpkin" on all her babies, and loves to use food names. Do you guys have any nicknames? What are they? My mommy also used to sing special songs to her furbabies but doesn't have one for me yet. We will figure that out soon. Do you guys have mommys that sing special songs to you? Please share!

We had a gorgeous day in Minnesota today. Enjoyed lots of walks today.

Cousins

I had a visitor tonight. My cousin (mom's 14 year old niece) came over and they made homemade pizza and watched movies. I also got lots of pets.



Isn't she beautiful!!!



She just lost her mother on May 14 so her family have all closed ranks to give her all the love we can. I hope I helped give her loves.

At the Lake -- Part 2

At my long weekend at the Lake my mommy brought me to the boat landing so I could "feel" the water. I was a bit scared at first. It is still too cold to swim. The ice hasn't been off the lake very long. Plus this is a very deep, spring-fed lake so it stays fairly cold even in the summer.



But soon I waded in just a little and did a little sit spin and then ran out. I was so excited!



We took some walks along the dirt road. It was pretty.



Oops, we better not go in there!



When I first got to the lake, Mommy wanted to see if I could go off-leash. Well I started to wonder away pretty fast and she was in hot pursuit of me. Then I saw this creature at the end of the drive. I got scared and jumped back and ran to mommy. She won't let me off leash at all now. But this is when we went back to visit little Rocky Racoon.



I barked at him and then did zoomies all around. Mommy had a hard time taking a picture of me playing with him. At the end of the weekend, I didn't even notice him. He's not so scary anymore.



This is me just chilling out in the house.



We had a beautiful sunset.



Then it was time to leave. I can't wait to go back!

Kodak's Big Adventure at the Lake

I took my first trip up to "The Lake" in Northern Minnesota. Ten Mile Lake in Hackensack, MN to be exact. Here I am in the front of the house. My mommy was busy helping with lots of yard work. The winter leaves a big mess of tree branches, pine needles, pine cones and leaves.



Nanna and Papa's house had been added on to this winter so it is still under construction. What a mess. But it will be great when it's done! This is the back side, away from the lake.



This is the front side facing towards the lake.



It will be a great view.



My mommy thinks this is the first time I have been to a lake but we can check with the first mommy to be sure.



I was very curious.







My mommy said I was so good this weekend. We will be able to go back to visit very soon!!! I have so many stories. More tomorrow!!!
