We Lost our Friend Kelsey Ann

It is with heavy heart and tears that we tell you that our friend, Kelsey Ann, from the Kapp Pack has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I know Tink, Buster and Clive are all there to greet her.

My Grandpa Rush

Hey, meet my Grandpa Rush! This is Rush and his Dad, Dave. I got to see him at the Eskie Picnic. Rush was invited to Westminster! They never did go because it costs so very much and is a huge commitment. But what an honor. He attained the rank of #1 in 2005 and was subsequently named 'Show dog of the Year for 2005 by the NAEDA.




I'm a little distracted -- guess I wouldn't be so good at Westminster.

Eskie Picnic Part 2

We had a wonderful time at the American Eskimo picnic in Champlin, Minnesota. The Couches were wonderful to host the picnic in their backyard.



It was a warm day, so lots of furbabies decided to cool off in the pond.

A group picture. There were a few stray dogs that didn't get in the picture. Boy was this a fun day. I was sure pooped out afterwards.

Minnesota American Eskimo Picnic

Hey, I went to a picnic today for Eskie's in the MN area.







We walked in and there were lots of eskies! I was so excited but they all ganged up on me at first. There are no pictures of this because my mom was busy trying to protect me. But, us eskies just had to work out the alpha thing.



My favorite part of the day was when I saw my first mommy (breeder), Mary. I spent 10 months with her and still remember her. I love her so much!! I know she loves me too! She is a triple threat! She shows eskies, breeds eskies and is an obedience trainer. BUT, more importantly, she has shown one of her dogs at WESTMINSTER. His name was Dreamer!!! She was owner/breeder/handler! My Grandpa Rush, was invited to Westminster twice but they did not go because of funding. He is a beauty and I am related! More on Rush tomorrow. I am so proud of my first Mom.

Visitors!

My Mommy's best friend since high school (and her fiance) who now lives in Arkansas came to visit this weekend. She is has not seen her for 18 years. They had so much fun and you can see that I wanted to be involved. I loved her fiance who made me do zoomies.



They got to see how I like to hang out on the glass table. I ended up tipping those pretty flowers by the end of the weekend. :( Hmmm, mommy couldn't see that coming? I also ate Rick's Oakley sunglasses. Mommy warned them, but darn, I'm sneaky!! It's hard to puppy proof a house, especially when cocktails are flowing. :)



We loved our company and time together but at the end of the weekend I was ready to just rest and chill.

Art Project

I went up to Nana and Papa's lake place up in northern MN last weekend. We had plans to boat and for me to learn to swim. Well, it was windy -- not just a little but whitecap, waves over the dock windy, so we didn't do any of that. I was lucky that my mom's niece was there to keep us company. We did inside things:



We started to do some art projects with water color.


Alyx is very creative.





However, things fell apart a little!!



I took a nap near the art supplies, but ended up eating a big brush and some plastic cups! Woohoo!



Eventually, Alyx decided to give me some loves!



So I gave her some loves back!!!

This is me getting in to trouble. I love my mommy's shoes, but she gets very exicted when I start to "play" with them! Especially her precious running shoes. I would just love to chew on all that rubber!



If the shoe isn't available, I just love to go for the foot!! She doesn't like that either! Go figure.



Then I find my gutted old toy. Boring!!!



So I find my stuffed toy -- it even still has the squeaker in it!



Then I find my ball and chase if for a bit.



Okay, that took up 15 minutes, now what?!!!!

Speaking of Table Sitting

Yes, I was on the table again in my last post. I know I'm not supposed to be on it, but I just can't help myself. I found that some other puppies like to do the same thing -- here they are!



Please don't try this at home. It could be very dangerous! I don't know why they got all those puppies to stay there!
